Jon Coyle is one half of the creative team behind ‘Flavor of Mind,’ a freshly sauteed YouTube channel that explores the delicious food and dynamic neighborhoods of Seoul, combined with bits of Korean history and oddball humor. Made together with his partner Kangsil Ko, the channel’s content also highlights the perspectives of an international couple with roots in both South Korea and the USA. Besides going for long city walks and eating impressive amounts of funky cheonggukjang, Jon and Kangsil have recently been developing a new ‘Seoul Guided Walking’ project, as well as a series of group events that will focus on having maximum fun and staying curious about South Korea’s capital city.

Aya is a certified sool curator and Korean culture enthusiast who regularly hosts Fish in a Suit’s monthly sool (์ ํต์ฃผ) events. She uses her love and passion for the Korean language, Korean culture, teaching, and drinking to introduce traditional Korean liquor to both foreigners and Koreans alike.

What is the program composition?

1. Learn
Learn about sool, or Korean traditional alcohol. Hear about how it’s made, its history, and other fun sool stories. Then get to taste two 2 special hand-picked bottles.
2. Compete
Hunt for your own sool. You will be will divided into 4 or 5 teams to select one or two sools—among hundreds—that you think can beat out all the rest and win the most votes.
3. Win
Participants from the winning team get awarded the sool survivor title and have the chance to take home a sool of your choice!

1. In case the minimum number of participants is not met, resulting in the cancellation of the event, we will notify you of the cancellation before the registration deadline and provide a full refund of the participation fee.
2. This voucher is non-transferable.
3. Please note that program photos or videos may be posted on Instagram, YouTube, or our website.
4. The post-event gathering (2nd round) is not included. Participants are free to arrange their own activities after the program ends.
5. Participants who disrupt the atmosphere or cause problems may be forcibly removed from the program by the organizers.

1. Free cancellation is allowed within 1 hour of payment. (Cancellation after the registration deadline or on the day of the event will not be eligible for a refund.)
2. If cancellation occurs more than 1 hour after payment, cancellation fees will be applied according to the following refund policy :
- - Cancellation 3 days before the registration deadline: Full refund
- - Cancellation 2 day before the registration deadline to before the registration deadline: 70% cancellation fee deducted from the product price, then refunded
- - Cancellation after the registration deadline or non-attendance on the day of the event: No refund
